Carl Peterson is a Professional Wetland Scientist with over 17 years of experience in project management and ecological landscape design. At GRWA, he specializes in urban water resource management, sustainable landscape design, and conservation planning in the Midwest Region. He is an Ecologist with extensive design experience in post construction storm water best management practices, streambank stabilization, and ecological restoration.  

In addition to design initiatives, Carl heads up ecological consulting at GRWA which offers wetland delineation, tree inventory, floristic and wildlife monitoring, and NPDES planning. This level of understanding enables GRWA to consider natural resource and stormwater management planning factors early in the design development process and avoid pitfalls during the development of construction documents.  

Mr. Peterson holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Roosevelt University. He is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, Certified Arborist, and LEED Accredited Professional.
