World Wetland Day

World Wetland Day is celebrated on February 2nd each year. It is significant to recognize wetlands' critical role for the planet and human well-being. This holiday raises awareness about the vital need to protect and restore these ecosystems. We honored World Wetland Day this year with a presentation from Ellen Raimondi, GRWA’s Senior Natural Resource Consultant. Ellen did an excellent job explaining wetlands and their impact on landscape architecture.
